Spanish in Bariloche - Patagonia - Argentina

Bariloche, recognized as the portal to Patagonia, is a wonderful place to learn Spanish. This small town surrounded by mountains and lakes is safe and you can combine your Spanish study with lots of activities in the afternoon and weekends. Rafting, kayaking, paragliding and horseback riding are just some examples of things you can do around Bariloche. During the weekend lots of students of our school opt for trekking in the mountain or just stay in town to enjoy the city and its nightlife.

Skiing and study Spanish in Bariloche

In the South American winter season, from the end of June thru the end of September, most of our students come to Bariloche to combine Spanish classes with skiing. Very close to Bariloche, about 20 km away from Bariloche´s downtown, we have Cerro Catedral, the most popular ski resort in Argentina and the biggest one in South America.

Our Spanish Courses

Spanish School La Montaña offers 3 different Spanish courses. Have a look which Spanish course you would like to join. All levels of our Spanish group classes are evaluated very carefully, and we have max. of 4 students per group.

If you choose for the Intensive Spanish Course, which comprise of 4 hours daily Spanish lessons in the morning (small groups - max. 6 students), you will also have a chance to join your friends and other students during the after school activities.

If you want to combine the group classes with private Spanish classes, you can choose the Super Intensive Spanish Course, a combination of 20 hours of group classes and 10 hours of private classes.

Students who wish to customize their whole Spanish program can choose for the Private Spanish Course.

Spanish & Volunteer Work in Argentina

You want to combine your Spanish course in Argentina with volunteer work? We have several volunteer projects; social, educational, environmental and other volunteer projects. Join one of the volunteer projects, help out the Argentine people, experience the real Argentine life and find out more about the culture of Argentina.

"La Montaña" can also arrange your accommodation. Most of our students prefer to stay with one of our friendly and helpfull families. They are all screened very carefully, to assure our students a very pleasant stay. If you wish, we can also arrange your stay in a hostel, hotel or a private appartment

We believe that the best way to learn the Spanish language is by enjoying it. For that reason our school organize a great number of activities, where you can practise all you learnt during your Spanish classes, learn more about the Argentine culture as well get to know other students which might be the beginning of a lifelong friendship.
