HALF-DAY EXCURSIONS: Hike to Cascada de los Duendes

This is the perfect after-class activity to relax and practice the Spanish you have learnt at La Montaña Spanish School. After 30 minutes ride on public transport (bus numer 50) you can get from town center to a small village called Villa Los Coihues. Once there, you will find the signs showing the direction for Cascada de los Duendes.

On the left, you will see several nice houses located along the Gutierrez lake shore on the foothills of Catedral mountain range. Just 20 minutes walk from bus stop, you will enter into the National Park Nahuel Huapi and start enjoying the breathtaking views. At the end of the road, the Park ranger office offers all the information related to fauna and flora in National Park. There is a small path to walk into the forest that will take you to Cascada de los Duendes. On the way, you will find signs with information about the species around.

This is one of our favorite after-class activities and students from all over the world enjoy practicing Spanish while learning more about our local species and all nature around. Come and join us!!!
