You can work as a volunteer at an organization that protects the autochthones vegetation of the area by doing workshops in schools, doing reforestation and they also have a greenhouse in which volunteers can work and give information to people who attend it. The activities that the volunteers can do are various. You can do field work, attend the tourists that visit the greenhouse, work on maintaining the plants that were planted in Bariloche etc.
We’ve also had volunteers working for some of the National Parks in the area. They require a very good level of Spanish because some of the tasks are to write reports.
