Volunteer work - Educational projects: Rural schools
There have been volunteers working for different schools located in remote areas. These have classes from May to September because the weather is very cold in those places.
Some of the schools offer accommodation, in other cases you travel by car everyday to the school with the teacher.
Some of the things you can do are to teach the kids computing, English or just help the teacher because some of these places have only one teacher and children of different ages learning at the same time.
Educational projects
If you want to be part of a group of Argentinean teachers, you can participate of any of our educational projects in either schools that are located in poor neighbourhoods close to Bariloche or in more remote towns. We’ve had volunteers repairing computers, helping the teachers in class and even teaching specific subjects. Some volunteers have given private classes in a poor neighbourhood to the teens that need extra help with the school subjects. |
