How does the school choose my Family?
We offer a variety of Family-Stay options depending on your needs and interests. We will ask you to complete a questionnaire to match you with a compatible family so that you have a good and enriching experience.
Will I live close to the school?
Most of the families live close to the school, but if you are interested, there are also possibilities to live with a family just out of town. Bariloche is situated on the Nahuel Huapi Lake and along this lake there are also very nice areas to live, with a frequent bus timetable from and to town. All houses are about 15 minutes traveling time to the school.
Can I stay with my family before the classes start, or stay longer after the course is finished?
If you want to stay with your family before the classes start, please inform us and we will arrange for you to stay with your family from the moment of your arrival. If you already know your departure date, please let us know. If you are not sure about your departure date yet, there will still be time to arrange the exact departure while you are in Bariloche.
Why do you advise not to stay with a family from the beginning, if I arrive without any knowledge of Spanish?
Based on personal experiences, we advice you not to go to live with a family without any knowledge of the Spanish language. After one week course you will feel much more comfortable to stay with a family, because you are able to have conversations. This is also more convenient for your host family.
Do you also arrange hostels or hotels?
Yes, we also can arrange your stay in a hostel or hotel, without additional charge. In the programs we have included the first week at a hostel, which we recommend if you arrive without any knowledge of the Spanish language. We work together with almost all the hostels in Bariloche, so if you have any preference for a hostel, please let us know. We make the booking in the hostel for you, will arrange your payment, without additional charge. If you prefer to make your own booking, you can always ask us for information about hostels, hotels, campings or bungalows in Bariloche. |
