Skiing and study Spanish in Bariloche
In the South American winter, from end of June till the end of September, most of our students come to Bariloche to combine spanish classes with skiing. Very close to Bariloche we have
Catedral Mountain, the most popular ski resort in Argentina and the biggest in South America.
Some details of the ski area of Cerro Catedral:
- The total skiing area is 600 hectares
- 53 pistes – 105 kilometers of pistes
- 28 lifts
- 14 restaurants

The base of the ski center is only 20 kilometers from the center of Bariloche. So during the week you can have classes in the morning and go skiing in the afternoon. On weekends you will be free, so you can ski the whole day.
Prices of ski passes for the season 2006 were in between US$ 125 and US$ 210 per week.

Buses to the ski slopes leave 15 minutes after classes, and the school is located only 100 meters from the bus stop. We can arrange transport together with our other students, so 20 minutes after leaving classes you can be at the base of the ski center.
